Personally, I think people who dress up as Star Wars characters are cool. :)
I always wanted to dress as an Emperor's Royal Guard (the red guy in front there), or as a Snowtrooper.
I must learn to somehow scan and post the picture of me standing next to Darth Vader (the actual Darth Vader costume) at The Smithsonian when they did the 'Magic of Myth' tour. Seeing all of the actual costumes was incredible. I look like an ewok next to Vader, though, as he is like 7 feet and I am like, 5' 4".
The pic above was at The Rose Parade, where they did a tribute to Star Wars and Lucas was Grand Marshall. Oh, to have been there!
