Christmas Specials/Movies

I helped Mom and Dad decorate their house this past weekend, decorated my house, wrapped all of my presents, and sent out all of my Christmas cards! Do I have the spirit or what?? Actually, I just like to get things done. ;)

There are plenty of Christmas specials and movies out there, but only a few that I actually watch over and over.

Here's a short list of the faves. If anyone wishes to comment, add yours to the list!

1)'Dr. Seuss' How The Grinch Stole Christmas.' I cry when the little Whos start singing anyway, even though every trace of Christmas is gone. And I laugh as the Grinch goes about his exploits with that little dog.

2) 'Charlie Brown's Christmas.' I cry when Charlie's tree is all decorated, and when Linus quotes the Bible. I laugh when those little kids are dancing in the beginning. The little boy in the green shirt is my favorite. What moves!

3) 'Elf.' This movie just makes me laugh and feel good inside all the way around. Hysterical scene is the snowball fight! Classic!

4) 'Frosty the Snowman.' I cried when he melted. But this classic stands the test of time.

5) 'National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation.' I loved the 'Vacation' movies, and this was perhaps the second-funniest, after the original.

There are a lot more that were good, like 'Rudolph' and 'A Christmas Carol', and 'It's A Wonderful Life.' But these five, I am sentimental about.

More to come in the way of my Christmas knicknacks!
I'm all about the knicknacks.

I think in another life I was a decorator. :)

Have a great day!
