Seems Hillary Clinton sent a letter to our CEO about the layoffs.
I have to support any woman who would run for President.
God Bless Her!
Sad that so many are jealous (hello, Women) and intimidated (hello, Men) of her.
I've always been a Clinton fan, from Bill to Hillary.
I'm always a fan of really smart, motivated people.
I wish I'd been the one to answer it (you understand that all letters/emails/Customer Concerns come to US, NOT the CEO. Nowhere NEAR the CEO.). I'd love to have answered it honestly, though, not with Corporate Lingo.
But, alas, God has not blessed me with a writing career so I can leave the Corporate World. Oh, but wait! Books, Movies, Music....are businesses too!
THAT, Art Lovers, is what hurts the most. That Art is a BUSINESS.
It hurts the Thoreau in me. ;)
I'm still buried in complaints here.
Some of my very favorites:
"You're nothing more than the Dorian Gray of the electronics business."
"You are a Judas."
"I hope you go out of business."
"Did the CEO take a pay cut?"
"Nazis."
"I hope you rot in Hell."
"I'll never spend another penny..."
"YOU should be the one that got laid off." (Meaning, ME, the emailer.)
Ah, it's great to live in a nation where everyone can freely express their opinion. If only they used correct grammar and spelling! haha 'Judas' and 'Dorian Gray' were misspelled. I got out my red pen. :)
Hope your days are not as....venom-filled.
It's wearing me out. Can you tell?

I don't know how you do it. All that negativity would get to me. I don't think people realize how stupid they sound when they complain with such "venom", as you say. AND - why direct it at you?! Morons! Hang in there, girlfriend!
p.s. I'll write later about the Stacey writer's thingy.
Hey Terre!
Well, I'll admit, it's been bothering me this week. I generally do not take complaints personally, as I know people are complaining about the business, not ME. And the same rule applies here. Except, the sheer hatefulness of people is what bothers me. I understand some anger-I thought the layoffs were a terrible thing, for all involved-but to actually write in and tell innocents like myself to 'rot in hell' and such...makes no sense to me.
Eh, This too shall pass.
