A New Day Has Come!!

Hi All,

I'm sure I've mentioned before, but as far as films and stage shows go, the more visual, the more interested I am. Basically, I love pretty things. Bean got her mom the new DVD from Celine Dion's Las Vegas show, which we watched on my TV when they came to visit (because, 65 inches is about as big as you can get for viewing things!).

All I can say is, to quote a dear friend of mine, Holy Toledo! This DVD is BEAUTIFUL, visually (someone put together a hell of a stage show for Celine) and musically (if you've heard her songs, and that voice, you know that Celine really is incomparable). We're planning to see her when she comes to DC later this year, if we can afford it. Is it me, or have concert ticket prices gotten way out of hand lately? We're not all Rockefellers, people!

No "All By Myself" which is one of my favorites! But otherwise, truly great. Even for people who might not be a huge Celine fan (I wouldn't call myself a HUGE fan, but I like her, certainly), the stage show is like a Broadway production.
