Progress

Hi All,

Odd that I would lament current situations just as they all turned for the better! Well, I'm still single, but that's actually something to enjoy. And there's more important things around, like new little babies that make life worthwhile, healthy parents and siblings, and the challenge of new living situations. Even CC is passing along the love-I was given a new role as an email response specialist and developer of the new template library for my department. I'm also editing the department newsletter, which is a new project. So with me actually getting to write all day long, am I happy?

DEAR GOD, YES!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've said this quite a bit, I know. Writing is what makes me happiest in the world. And I'll do any type of writing, anytime. Well, ok, except 'romance novels' or 'pornography.' I'll write porn before I'll write romance. Me being constantly busy all day long actually helps the OCD, a LOT. If I really want to be productive, I'd start drinking coffee again. The caffeine wires my brian to an unnatural level. There's pros and cons related to this; on the one hand, I work really hard, really fast, so I'm very efficient. I also get creative splurges where I write some of my best work. On the other hand, my mind races so much, the OCD-related thoughts only get worse. Lord knows I don't need them to be worse.

But anyway, it's a wonderful opportunity for me, and one that might lead to a Copywriting position (my ultimate goal with CC). And get this! We actually get to decorate our desks for Halloween this year! That's a first. Too many conservatives out there have prevented it in the past. But one of the new supervisors actually thought up the idea and made it a contest. I'll be dressing and all. Should be fun!

Speaking of fun. The first round of our Halloween parties will be this weekend. Lots to do for setup, but we'll have a good time, for sure. Bean's family are coming this weekend, and mine next. I have a tombstone that fogs and has alternating colors in the fog, a skull that makes 8 different spooky sounds, lots of creepy wall coverings, and enough knicknacks and scary movies to satisfy all. And I'll post pictures of the very cute H-ween foods we'll be making (they all are set to look like spooky things).

In other news, 'Lost' is positively baffling. As usual!
'Grey's Anatomy' tonight-always entertaining and dramatic.
'Heroes'....not keeping up my interest. Yet I still watch, hoping for more.
'Dancing with the Stars..'....Great as usual! Joey had best make it to the finals, or two girls in VA will be pissed. :) (Love Joey!)

2) My, this carpet is nice and clean.
3) See? There is a God.
4) Would I like to write? WOULD I LIKE TO WRITE??
5) Don't mind the tears. They're just from joy.
