A Beautiful Mind

Hi All,
'Lost' took a page from the film 'A Beautiful Mind' last night with the 'Is he my imaginary friend or is he real?' quandry that Hurley found himself in. People on the message boards are saying they were mostly disappointed by this episode, but I tend to love those episodes-the ones that mess with your mind. Speaking of messing with your mind-I was sorry to see Mandisa leave on AI. I thought she had a great voice; better than many of those who remain. Next week should be interesting. Hard Rock with Queen coaching the kids.
When I was a kid, I had tons of imaginary friends. I had to say goodbye to every single stuffed animal (there were a lot, too) if I went away for a few days. They all had names, too. Leo is still my sentimental favorite. He's a stuffed lion that my kindergarten teacher gave me. I loved my kindergarten teacher! He was cute, and funny, and a good male role model. I don't remember much of that year since I spent most of it in the hospital. Mr. Gardner gave me little Leo as a get-well gift. I slept with him every night for years. The stuffed lion! haha Eventually I moved on to other animals (I always had to sleep with one or the other..like Linus and his security blanket), but Leo was always the King of the Jungle. In recent years I've donated a lot of my stuffed animals, figuring that little kids really should have them instead of me, but I'll never part with Leo. He's worn now, and some of his filling has come out, but he'll always be the little friend that comforted me during those dark nights.
Now, I just hug the pillow and pretend it's Brad Pitt. Grrrr. haha

Imaginary Friends
1) Don't listen to Timmy when he tells you to jump off a cliff. Timmy needs help.
2) When I go to movies, I like to get Roger's opinion. I sit there and say, "What do you think, Rog?" People with me just sigh.
3) I think an Imaginary Person ran up my credit card. Yeah, that's it. An IMAGINARY person did that.
4) Maybe my imaginary friend will take the math test for me. Math confounds me.
5) Actually, an imaginary person writes this blog. I don't truly exist. Do I?

haha

Have a great day, and a great Palm Sunday weekend.
