Skydiving

Hi All,
We had a treat yesterday at work. They had a celebration for our department, since our contribution to sales was so strong, and sales for the company were up 15% last quarter. It was held at the IMAX dome and we got to get off the phones to go see the IMAX movie 'Adrenaline Rush,' which was about skydivers and base jumpers. Let me tell you, it amazes me what these people do! It's really all about mastering the physics of it all. And loving the rush. I find it interesting that most of us spend our whole lives looking for something to get us 'high'....I know I sure have spent all of mine thus far looking for that.
I don't mean quite the kind of high you get on drugs, or sex, but more like the high you get from religion, really REAL religion when you feel like you're actually in the presence of God. Or the high you get when you hear a really, really great song. Or when a really wonderful sentence writes itself before your eyes. Or when you hear your baby laugh, or when you hold him/her for the first time. Those are the kinds of highs I mean. I look for them all the time. Probably because I'm no fan of reality and those things make it all seem....worthwhile.

But then, drugs and sex are good too. hahahaha Just Kidding. I wouldn't know about either.

Things I'd think if I ever tried skydiving:
1) Hail Mary, full of grace.....
2) That ground is going to HURT!
3) But I'm so young! Too young to go now!
4) See you soon, Grandma
5) I think my heart just exploded

;)
I think you have to have utter abandon and no thought of your life to go skydiving.
