The New Yorker

I'm sorry to have break my Tributes to NYC to comment on this, but I feel I must.

What in God's name is WRONG with people over at The New Yorker?????

I won't post the offensive drawing here, but you can see it online on any news site.
Basically, it shows Barack Obama in Muslim gear, knocking fists with his wife, who holds a machine gun and ammo.
On the wall is a portrait of Osama Bin Laden, and in the fireplace is a burning American flag.

This is offensive on so many levels; I think my blood pressure went up.

1) The Muslim religion (Islam) is an incredible religion, is very close to Christianity and Judaism, and should be honored, not mocked.
2) Islam has nothing to do with Bin Laden. Not real Isalm.
3) Barack Obama is a Christian. Hello!
4) Are Republicans that afraid? That someone has to paint Obama as The Enemy?
5) I'm not even an Obama supporter (I shudder to think what they'd draw for Hillary), but this was very, VERY offensive.

Someone needs to be fired. ASAP.
How could this be approved for print???

In reality, I guess we've had leaders who were in league with Bin Laden. Which makes us all the angrier. I'll never forgive the
people who let 9/11 happen. How people can live with themselves, I don't get.

Sheesh.

Grrrr.
