The Biggest Loser

While the new season starts next Tuesday, the reunion show for last season airs tonight (8pm, NBC). I love this show, because it's inspiring to watch people improve their lives and improve their health.

Most importantly, so many of the contestants develop self-esteem, some for the first time in their lives. That's such an important thing for all of us, and such a hard thing to attain.

Here's hoping you had a great Labor Day. I went to a cookout at Bean's brother's house. I was very impressed with him! The place was as neat as a pin and was immaculate. And, he is a great cook. In other words, he's a great catch! Well, I'm already a member of the family...haha

In other news, even though I see that it made $30 million and was #1 at the box office; run, avoid, and generally treat like a plague the latest 'Halloween' film. It violated nearly all of my 'Generic Things NOT to Do In a Horror Film.' Bean and I almost walked out, it was so lame. The second half was slightly better than the first. But overall, it lacked any creativity whatsoever (my 11 month old nephew could write a better script), the acting was horrible, the effects were a lot of gory garbage, and we got not one genuine scare. Rob Zombie! You get an F.

The ORIGINAL 'Halloween,' however, is a classic.

Have a great day. ;)
