Scenes from The 'Ween

All Hallow's Eve, a day I love
Though it beckons the spirits from below and above
Honoring those that have gone before is what it really is, you see
But fables and legends have made it a day of spooky trickery
A day when we can be whatever we want, but just for a day
For once life takes its routine, the masks go away
A day for darkness to come out into the light
A day for ghouls and ghosts and sprites
But mostly, these days, it's all about those great H-Ween foods
The candy and chocolate and things that lighten moods
We laugh at how silly and different we all look
Zombies, horror movie characters, super heroes, and spooks
And at the end of the night we smile as we say, "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, here to save the day!!"

Well, it's late. Or early. ha

Have a great day.

I love "Its the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown!" Poor Sally. I think what the cartoon teaches that a woman should never compromise her priorities (in this case, candy) for a man (well, in this case, Linus!)

That pumpkin is amazingly carved!

Thursday!
I love the Charlie Brown too. I really need those on DVD. Bean gets credit for the pumpkin-carving. I thought she did a great job!

Afro: Thanks for stopping by! I liked those Trolls too...Walgreens! I'll let Bean know she did a good job on the carving. :)
