What Grinds Your Gears?

Hi All,
Apparently I was the only one who had never seen the 'Family Guy' movie that's out on DVD, so the 'season finale' episodes last night were new to me. I didn't see all of it, as it was an hour and a half, but I did see Peter's hilarious rants as a guest anchor on the local news station. I've been looking for a transcript of all of his quotes, as they were awesome. The only one I can find so far is:

"You know what really grinds my gears? This Lindsay Lohan. Lindsay Lohan with all those little outfits, jumping around there on stage, half-naked with your little outfits. Ya know? You're a...You're out there jumping around and I'm just sitting here with my beer. So, what am I supposed to do? What you want? You know, are we gonna go out? Is that what you're trying to - why why are you leaping around there, throwing those things all up in my, over there in my face? What do you want, Lindsay? Tell me what you want? Well, I'll tell you what you want, you want nothing. You want nothing. All right? Because we all know that no woman anywhere wants to have sex with anyone, and to titillate us with any thoughts otherwise is - is just bogus."

haha So what really grinds my gears?

People who have to talk on their cell phone 24 hours a day
People who have the talent of a field mouse getting promoted over me
Rain in general
When kitty decides to meow nonstop for no good reason
Most reality TV (except AI and Dancing With The Stars)

I already miss 'Grey's Anatomy.' It's going to be a long summer.

'Alias' wraps tonight with the Series Finale. This was a tremendous show, always full of action and drama. From the moment she donned her crimson-red wig and karate-kicked her way into my living room, I was a fan of Sydney Bristow (Jennifer Garner). Now, five years later, it's all about to end. I've seen a spoiler photo from the finale and if that's correct intel, then I should be pleased with the way this series goes out. Let's hope so; I can't take another 'Will and Grace' debacle. haha

Things that grind my boss' gears
1) People dragging in at about ten after, and then loudly announcing: "Oh, was I late?"
2) People taking random breaks whenever they feel like it. When she looks at the MTE and sees no one on the phones, she knows she has a problem. Damn it!
3) Early hours. Boss likes to sleep as much as I do. That's a lot!
4) Those employees who always need assistance. She can even hire Leads to answer questions, and that one employee will STILL harrass only the boss.
5) People who use the company equipment for personal use. Well! I certainly never do THAT.

;)

Have a great day!

Haven't watched much of Peter, but after that quote, maybe I should catch some reuns. Either, a) he's a man of my dreams for saying that aloud, or b) you're the woman of my dreams for posting it! LOL.

You made me watch the W&G finale. Being a non-fan, it was even more so-so. I'm a big 'finale' watcher. Even had a collection of taped finales through the 90's. I'll watch Alias tonight and see what all the secrets are and then maybe catch the reruns. :)

Gear grinding? Arse-holes who drive in the left lane when they aren't passing anyone! Sneaky cops to tag me from a blind spot. As of late, being caught by major surprises. And situations that are hopelessly stupid, such as many of Ben Stiller's movies. They may be funny, but NOBODY can be THAT stupid. That frustration Grinds every tooth of my gear. :)

Keep on writing. I like to read it. :)

I think (B) is the correct answer. I am one cool woman. haha Just Kidding.
You watched 'Will and Grace?' After my warning against it? (ha)
Don't get me started on that show again. Anger is still there. I saw an episode last night where Will and Grace do their wills and leave everything to each other. Yeah, and they're going to go 22 years without speaking. Whatever!

But about 'Alias,' I hope you watch before you read my spoiler commentary on the finale. And, DEFINITELY catch the reruns! Rent all of the seasons! Do what you must! haha Seasons 1-2 are the best. But I'm such a devotee, I can't say much bad about any of it.

I loved your examples of things that grind your gears! I agree on Ben Stiller; ditto with Adam Sandler movies.
