Lions and Tigers and Bears, Oh My!

Hi All,
So I finally bought 'The Chronicles of Narnia' on DVD and watched it last night. All I can think about when I see it is how, as a first grader, I loved the animated version of this story that they showed us at school. I also read the book. I had a little Fisher Price lion, tiger, and gorilla that I used as my characters in Narnia. This past year after the movie was out my brother bought me the new, much more accurate Aslan action figure, so I could finally have a proper Aslan. Not that I sit around and play adventures anymore, as I'm almost 33 (grrrr!). But it's nice to finally have this story told as it should be told: with lots of wonderful special effects and good actors. I saw this one in the theater, but upon the second viewing (on Mr. HA, my 65 inch behemoth who I still love above all others, haha), I liked it even better than before.
When I was home last, I was talking with my mom about the possibilities of a move to Madison, to rent my grandmother's house, which was fixed up and rented out by my aunts. Mom says, "You'll have to sell the TV, becuase there's no room in Granny's house big enough for it." (Give me a minute to breathe.) WHAT?????? This is when I told Mom, " My TV is my favorite of everything I have ever owned in my life. I cannot give him up, ever. We'd have to make something work." I mean, really! Once you've gotten the big screen TV you wanted since you were five, you don't give him up. I admit I have to strain the eyes when I watch movies on 'normal' screens now. What's 27 inches? Small, I say!

It's Mother's Day today. Happy Mother's Day to all of the wonderful mothers out there. We appreciate all of the crap you've cleaned up for us, all of the hugs you gave us, and, in my case, with this group from Lifetime, all of the trips over the side of the boat, which I may have deserved. But Ma Dee, I get my sarcasm from YOU!

Things You'd Like to Say In Narnia
1) But Mr. Tumnus (faun), how do you avoid hunters?
2) I'll bet they can make some killer snow forts here.
3) I think Aslan's growl alone can wipe the evil away!
4) Is that panpipes I hear? So many centaurs, so few pipes.
5) Was that a bunch of talking leaves, or am I tripping again?

Have a great day, all.
