We had a fantastic time at Hershey Park. Of all the parks I've been to (which isn't really that many, but still), it was my favorite. It's amazing how different things are when you see it all through the eyes of a child. I hung out with Bree and Calvin a lot, and rode rides with her. I'm a wimp these days; I can't get on the big rollercoasters unless I have alcohol in me, and I rarely have that in me. Bean and I did get on The Anaconda last year at Busch Gardens, but again, I had a fresh beer in me when I did. This time around, I settled for the monorail (a skylift type that took you over the whole park), the train (a train ride through the park), and the little kiddie rides. We also did the Chocolate Factory tour ride, which was a lot of fun. I love things like that: learning how chocolate is made and such. I'm a bit of a nerd I suppose (a bit? haha); I just love to learn, about anything.
The next day, my brothers and I saw The Police live at Hershey Stadium. I can't think of The Police without thinking of my brother, who loved them the most back in the 80's. So we finally got to see them live, 24 years later.

I was most impressed with each musician's talents: Sting carried the songs with his Reggae-Rock bass riffs, Andy Summers gave us some incredible guitar solos, and Stewart Copeland is one of the best drummers ever. I'm a big fan of drummers, because I love to play them myself. Stewart is the best I've seen at the little "fills," though Larry Mullen, Jr. (U2) and Carter Beaufort (DMB) are also exceptional drummers, and also excel at this. Stewart is a real percussionist, as well as a drummer, because he plays all kinds of weird little cymbals, the xylophone, and other percussion instruments in addition to the drums. I was very impressed, all the way around.
And this wasn't any Reggae-Pop Police; this was ROCK Police. They rocked hard, and put on an incredible show.
So, Thank Goodness for reunions! This one was worth it.
Have a great day.

I also wanted to hear 'Spirits in the Material World' and my brother wanted 'Bring on the Night.' They have so many classics. It was a great show.
