Favorite 'Indy' moments?
(Not in any order, really)
1) The end of 'Raiders,' when they open the Ark. Die, Nazis!
2) The steps that lead to the Holy Grail at the end of 'Last Crusade.' We knew Indy could do it!
3) Indy goes under a truck and comes out at the front. Great special effect/stuntman work.
4) Indy shoots the swordsman instead of getting into a swordfight. Classic!
5) The subtle commentary on book burning (against) in 'Last Crusade.' Being keen to these things, I noticed that part.
6) Rafting from a plane onto the snow, and then into a river, in 'Temple of Doom.'
7) The classic 'Citizen Kane'-ish ending to 'Raiders' (The Ark is in a box in a huge, endless warehouse).
8) Sean Connery as Indy's dad. Need I say more?
9) Any scene which involved Indy with no shirt. :)
10) "Snakes???!!!!"
;)
I'm glad I grew up exactly when I did. And thankfully, my parents did not limit us as to what we could watch/listen to/etc. We had the good sense to have good taste and never stepped out of line, anyway, so Parents made a wise decision.
Also, thankfully, my dad loves movies, especially action-types, and once we all became Harrison Ford fans, we had to see everything he made. Which was never a bad thing.
Have a great day.

I think my favorite father/son characters on screen are Indy and his dad..."we named the DOG Indiana." hahahahahahaha
Great post, as per usual! :)
It'll be ace this! Aside from the fact that they've got some kid in it again as his sidekick. Bah.
Best bit in any IJ film ever - the swordfighting bit, it just cracked me the heck up the first time I saw it.

I agree Thursday; Indy and his dad were a great team.
But Peej: The "kid" is Shia LeBouf, who is actually 21, and who is a great actor (see 'Holes,' 'Disturbia,' etc.). I don't see him ruining any film. He's good, trust me. If we could put up with Short Round...haha He was ok too.
Old enough to be my father, but I'd date him. I'd do a lot of things to him!!! :-P
