33 Random Things

Since I turn 33 on Sunday (aarrggh!), I thought I'd reflect.

33 Random Questions

1) Have you ever cried during a movie?
Please. I cry all the time at movies. I'm such a sap!

2) Who was the last person you couldn't take your eyes off of?
A co-worker who looked like a God, he was so beautiful. Of course, he was gay.

3) Have you ever danced in the rain?
No, but I'd love to make out in the rain. Dancing might cause much laughter.

4) What do you want to be when you grow up?
I wanna be a writer!!

5) What is your political persuasion?
Gee, I wonder? ha Liberal Democrat, baby.

6) Do you believe in love at first sight?
I believe in Lust at First Sight. Love, that takes much longer.

7) Do you believe in Karma?
Absolutely! Why else have I been so clean-cut all my life?

8) What does your screen name mean?
My screen name was always 'ToriFan.' I think it's self-explanatory. For this blog, I went ahead and used my real name. As to what THAT means, you'll have to ask my parents.

9) What is your perfect pizza?
Deep Dish in Chicago, Supreme! It was the best I've ever had.

10) What is your first thought when waking up in the morning?
"God D*** It!" haha (I hate to wake up, anytime)

11) What is your first thought before you go to bed?
I can't repeat those here. They usually involve me, someone of the male persuasion, and Redi-Whip. ;)

12) Do you play any instruments?
Drums! And some very poor keyboard. Much like Ross ('Friends') on the keyboard, I am.

13) Who would you want to be tied to for 24 hours?
Madonna. Heck, you could leave us tied together much longer if you wanted. ;)

14) What is one thing scientists should invent?
Everything from Star Trek and Star Wars. We need that stuff! Holodecks are especially cool.

15) Do you make wishes on shooting stars?
Sure! If I ever saw a shooting star, I'd make a wish. Then I'd yell, "Han! Is that you???"

16) Do you usually prefer books or movies?
Dear God, what a question!! I prefer both. But if I had to choose, I'd say BOOKS!

17) What superhero power would you want to have?
I think Force powers are the best, actually. With The Force, you can pretty much fly (see Episodes 1-3 for examples), you can send somebody across the room with the flick of the wrist, you can brainwash people ("These aren't the droids you're looking for."), and you can command things to move as you need (get out of the way, the X Wing's flyin' on it's own!).

18) What would be your ideal life?
Being a full-time writer, being comfortable financially, and being able to travel the world as much as possible.

19) Have you ever been in a school play?
Who hasn't? I was an elf, I remember. I don't remember the others. In high school, I was a strung-out druggie. It was my Oscar moment.

20) What's your favorite Halloween treat? Bean loves candy apples. I love anything chocolate. Reese's Peanut Butter Pumpkins (a variation of the Reese Egg, the Reese heart, etc.). Bean points out that all they do is wrap the same candy in different wrappers and call it holiday candy. ha It's true!

21) Do you prefer an Art Museum or a Science Museum? Art, surely. But actually, I find any type of museum fascinating, cause I'm kinda nerdy and like to learn.

22) Do you prefer a zoo or a circus?
I dislike both, because they are cruel to animals and I'm an animal-rights person. The zoo just made me want to cry for the animals in cages. I've never been to a circus, but I hate clowns and weird people bother me. ha

23) Do you prefer movies or live theater?
Actually, I LOVE live theater, but I rarely get a chance to see it.

24) Do you prefer board games or video/computer games?
Well, board games are fun for a group; Ms. Pac Man is fun for one person and another one in the room laughing at the cursing. D*** those ghosts!

25) Do you prefer sculptures or paintings?
While I like both, nothing compares to a beautiful or unique painting. Preferably by Dali or Monet.

26) Do you prefer ballet or modern dance?
I took a class on Modern Dance, actually. Created my own dance with 2 partners for the final. It was fun! But tights today? No, sir!

27) What's the last thing you bought at the pharmacy?
Vitamin B-12! And I can already feel the energy boost! Yahoo! !!!!!!!

28) Who was the last person you went out to dinner with?
Bean, and a co-worker. We went to The O.G. (Olive Garden). I got the Ravioli di Portobello. Portobello shrooms! Creamy sun-dried tomato sauce! And did I mention peach Sangria? :)

29) Orange Juice or Apple Juice?
Neither. I don't drink juices cause they are all sugar. I don't drink sodas for the same reason. But every now and then I'll have some OJ, just cause it is good for you.

30) Chips or popcorn?
This is hard. I love Lays chips. I love white cheese popcorn. Or any cheese popcorn. 'Corn rocks.

31) When was the last time you swam in a pool?
Must have been 2 years ago at a friend's house. I don't think you could call it 'swimming,' though.

32) What message is on your answering machine?
Some automated woman telling people to leave a message. Well, it came with the phone service.

33) What do you want for your birthday?
$$$$$$$$$$$
Which is what I'll get. And with that, I have a little Trilogy to buy soon. :)

Have a great weekend, All!

Thanks, fellow bloggers, for the well-wishes.
I had a very nice birthday, other than this infernal tiredness that STILL plagues me.
