Hi All,
So Bean walks in the door from her visit home with THIS bundle of joy, and Marty nearly faints. I think of that scene from 'Raising Arizona' where Holly Hunter sits and cries hysterically while telling H.I. "I love him so much!" ha ha That movie, BTW, is the funniest ever. Guaranteed to make you cry tears of laughter. CLASSIC. But I digress. Say hello to Bean's son, 'Sgt. Pepper.'
He is so tiny you can hold him in one hand.
He has little white patches on his chin that makes him look like Confuscious.
He has white whiskers.
He has little yellow eyes.
His cry is tiny and adorable.
And when I hold him, he clutches to me for dear life and purrs!
In short, I LOVE HIM!
Will The Princess love him as well?
Um...no. She is spoiled (who would have thought??) and also dislikes other animals, especially other cats. Needless to say, we're keeping these two seperated until he is much bigger.
Cats are fascinating creatures. They're my absolute favorites, for many reasons.
The Egyptians loved and worshipped them, and the Egyptians were the coolest and most advanced people ever to live (in my opinion).
They can see in the dark. How awesome is THAT?
They always land on their feet.
They purr; my favorite sound in the world. Forget babies laughing; give me a cat purr anyday.
They are expert hunters.
They have incredible senses of hearing and smell.
When they like you, they are the sweetest things in the world.
And black cats are the #1 coolest! Like Princess Leia. She's all black, and is my good luck charm. :)
And, I LOVED 'Catwoman.' I am apparently the only one who thinks this. ;)
Cat Senses I Wish I Had
1) That sense of hearing. I could hear Madonna tunes from miles away.
2) That sense of sight. I laugh at you, Lasik!
3) Finesse. I have none of this. Sadly.
4) Flexibility. Well....this comes in handy in 'certain' situations. haha
5) The life they lead. Well? Sleep 23 hours a day? I'm all for THAT.

Yes dear, I know about your love of dogs. I'm really an all-around animal lover, truth be told. Except I do get scared around dogs. But I get scared around clowns too. haha
And not to worry; Princess Leia and Sgt. Pepper (don't you love his name!?) get LOTS of kisses.

What a cutie! And what a great name! I was going to go with Sgt. Slaughter, but Sgt Pepper is even better!
